Metro Microgreens Takes Fresh Produce To A
Whole New Level

Our growing facility, located in Rockville, Maryland, provides microgreens to local farmer's markets around the Washington, DC region, restaurants, personal chefs, CSA’s, Caterers, grocery stores, and anyone wanting the finest quality varieties of microgreens.

 

We are a “Certified Naturally Grown” farm.

What Makes Us Different

  • Our microgreens are LIVING FOOD providing more flavor, nutrients, and a much longer shelf life compared to pre-cut microgreens purchased elsewhere.

  • Our microgreens are on a coco coir medium so there is no soil for you to rinse off.

  • No chemicals or fertilizers are ever used during growing.

  • We grow sustainably. No chemicals, fertilizers, or supplements.

  • Our coco coir mats are 100% natural and compostable. We use only non-GMO seeds. We request customers bring back the clamshells for refills each time they visit the markets to reduce waste. 

  • We donate microgreens each week to local food banks and pantries to help those less fortunate.

Pea Shoots, Broccoli, Cilantro, Spicy Purple Radish, Leeks, Spicy Mix, Fennel, Kale, Dill, Carrots, Wasabi Mustard, Wheatgrass, Sorrel, Red Leaf Mustard, Chervil, Sunflowers, Arugula, Shiso, Cantaloupe, Sweet Basil, Amaranth.
